Following Texas A&M’s dominant 49-25 win over LSU, two Aggies were selected for SEC Player of the Week designations.
Marcel Reed was chosen as the SEC Offensive Player of the Week for the first time this season. Reed diced up a stout LSU defense, accounting for 310 yards of offense and four total touchdowns. He also registered a 92.4 QBR per ESPN, his highest mark of the season.
For the third time this season, Cashius Howell was selected as the SEC Co-Defensive Lineman of the Week. Howell sacked LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier twice in the first half and the Aggies ultimately forced the Tigers to punt on both drives.
Howell is tied for 2nd in the country in sacks and he continues to make a strong push for SEC Defensive Player of the Year.
