The bad news is that today’s game between the Atlanta Braves and the Colorado Rockies won’t be starting on time. The tarp has been on the field for just over half an hour now , as scattered showers have once again hit The Battery. It’s kind of similar to what happened on Friday night, which is when a shower rolled in about an hour before the game started but the weather cleared up in time for there to be no delay.
The good news is that this delay won’t be a long one, as first pitch is currently scheduled
for 4:25 p.m. ET. That’s just fifteen minutes ahead of what the original start time, so this won’t be a long rain delay after all.
