Well, it’s Monday. And it’s a Monday after there were some rather interesting results in Serie A. (Of course, as we are all well aware of, Juventus was not part of that group.)
It was busy weekend in Italy
— as one might have expected knowing full well what was on the schedule. There’s a new league leader, one that even those who root for the club probably didn’t expect to be at the top of the table a month or two ago considering a brand new manager just took charge over the summer. There’s the defending champions a couple of points off the pace after giving Atalanta’s new manager a rude awakening in his debut.
Oh, and there’s now a new club at the bottom of the standings, too. (You’re welcome.)
So yeah, it was an eventful weekend.
