A few days ago, we broke news that Bayern Munich and Denmark youth international Jonathan Asp Jensen was on the verge of signing for La Liga club RC Deportivo. The 20-year-old picked the Spanish top-flight team as his ideal destination, and it looks like the announcement will be made shortly.
Jonathan Asp Jensen will sign with Dépor tomorrow. The player has already passed all his medical exams.
In
our previous report on the Asp Jensen move, it was revealed that Bayern rejected the proposal from Italian club Lazio and instead opted for Deportivo’s offer. The Bavarians will receive €6 million from the Spanish club, which is still a sizeable amount for a youth player. Asp Jensen made just one appearance for Bayern Munich’s senior team in all competitions since he signed for the Rekordmeister in 2022: in the 2-0 win over Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga where he came on for fellow youth team player Lovro Zvonarek.
