Bayern Munich have immortalized themselves as the team with the best start to the season, beating AC Milan’s record from 1992/93. They’ll continue to improve on that streak against Bayer Leverkusen.
Although Leverkusen have picked up the slack following their rough start to the season, they are not impervious to an onslaught by a well-drilled team. Take their Champions League outing against PSG for example, Die Werkself held seven goals in an eventual 7-2 defeat to the holders in a performance that
would’ve done 2019 Tottenham Hotspur proud.
While Leverkusen might fancy their chances against this ruthless red machine, a full-strength Bayern will be hard to beat, however, and this match should be another day in the office for the Bavarians.
Prediction: Bayern wins 3-1
