If anyone is expecting Atalanta to just roll over and give up at the Allianz Arena in the Champions League vs. Bayern Munich, you will likely be disappointed.

We faced a strong team, from every perspective. They’re a team to be looked up to. When you face these complete teams, you have to play the perfect game beyond the tactical plan to try to be competitive. Tomorrow we’ll be playing in a beautiful stadium in a beautiful competition. We’re proud to represent Italy in Germany; and be the only Italian team still in the competition.”
While the Italian side knows it will have an uphill battle it, at least, does not sound like the squad is ready to concede anything just yet.
Can Atalanta pull off a miracle? Probably not — and even they know that. However, it does not mean that the Italians will not go down without a fight.
Bayern Munich should take that as a reminder that nothing will just be given to them.
