Acting Barcelona president Rafa Yuste has fired back at Florentino Perez and Real Madrid and says the club are prepared to take legal action.
Barcelona have already threatened court action after Perez went on a rant about referees and the Negreira case back in May.
Yuste has now spoken about the situation again and had some strong words for Los Blancos, per Mundo Deportivo.
“No one can tarnish the Barça badge. We’ll see each other in court. We’ll go after them because we have the upper hand,” he said.
“It’s one thing to defend yourself with pride, and another to go behind your back doing certain things. Do you think you can threaten us by saying you’ll send five hundred documents to UEFA? I don’t know what this gentleman thinks.”
Madrid have reportedly also compiled a dossier and sent it to UEFA, calling for Barca to be stripped of their titles and banned from European competition.
The dossier has been described as “politically delusional” and the required punishments “legally impossible” by CENAFE president Miguel Galan.
