The Las Vegas Raiders are getting ready to face off against the New England Patriots. They hope to bounce back from the heartbreaking loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The team has been struggling in the running game. Ashton Jeanty has not been fully healthy since his summer injury, and it is showing on the field. As the injury lingers, Jeanty has remained a full participant in practice. That changed on Thursday, when he went from full to a limited designation for practice. However, this time it wasn’t
the ankle; it was a foot injury.
The Raiders’ depth at running back, if he can’t go, is a strong point, with Mike Washington Jr. as a backup. It would also give Dylan Laube a shot at more playing time. It might be the time to rest Jeanty and allow the ankle to fully heal. Jeanty needs to be healthy by the end of the year when it is time to push for the playoffs.
