What is the story about?
Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling is signing with the Los Angeles Chargers and will be added to their practice squad, per Jeremy Fowler. The veteran wideout had a workout with the team earlier in the day.
Valdes-Scantling appeared in five games for the Steelers in 2025, catching 10 passes for 80 yards and a touchdown. He was originally drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of North Carolina State. He has 219 career catches and 21 touchdowns.
The Chargers will mark the ninth team Valdes-Scantling has been part of.
