Former WWE star and Tough Enough winner Maven Huffman has made it big on YouTube over the last couple of years. Earlier this week, Maven posted an interview he recorded with Enzo Amore (aka Real1) from well over a year ago. Amore shit on the AEW locker room during part of their conversation, which included this statement:
“Fuck AEW for all the pussy ass fighting that they do over there, and letting it leak and shit.”
Enzo quickly called out Maven for posting this old interview so soon after AEW star
PAC died. Maven responded today by issuing an apology and explaining the timing of the post. Maven said he will learn from his mistake and try to make better decisions going forward.
“Hey guys, I wanted to address the Enzo Amore video.
First, we want to apologize to Enzo and any fans who were upset or hurt by the timing of our latest upload. Nothing malicious was intended, but looking back, we fully understand why the timing bothered some people. Moving forward, we’ll make sure we’re more mindful about our content and when we release it.
Enzo recorded with us back in 2025, but there was a portion of the interview he later asked us not to release. We honored that request, and because that was a significant part of the original video, the interview ended up sitting unreleased for quite a while. Over time, we heard from viewers who still wanted us to release what we could from the interview.
Last Friday, our regular upload was much shorter than what we normally post, so we felt it was a good opportunity to give you guys a little extra and finally release that version.
Just to be completely clear, the portion Enzo asked us to remove was removed. We honored that request, and it does not appear anywhere in the video.
Again, our apologies. We’re learning from this, and we’ll do better and be more mindful going forward.”
Do you think Maven owed Enzo Amore and fans this apology over the timing of the video, or is it much ado about nothing? Let me know your thoughts on Maven’s apology in the comments below, Cagesiders.
