The Wisconsin Badgers got a ton of eyeballs in Week 1, as they got the primetime slot on Sunday night on NBC against the No. 4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
That game was one of only three that were played on Sunday, and the Badgers saw their fair share of ups and downs, with the final score being 41-13 after a rough second half.
Now, Wisconsin turns the page to face the 1-1 Western Illinois Leathernecks in Week 2, and they’re a massive favorite: FanDuel has them as a 37.5-point favorite on the spread.
Looking ahead at the Big Ten schedule, there are a couple of fun games on the docket. Oklahoma and Michigan are facing off on Big Noon Kickoff on FOX. Oregon faces Oklahoma State and quarterback Drew Mestemaker on the road on ESPN on Saturday morning. Duke and Illinois clash on FS1 in the 2:30 p.m. window. And there are a few primetime games.
Ohio State takes on Texas in Austin at 6:30 p.m. on ABC in the game of the week after the two sides faced off against each other last season. And Iowa State faces Iowa on Peacock at 6:30 p.m. as well.
Another primetime game? Wisconsin taking on Western Illinois on Big Ten Network, with kickoff set for 6:15 p.m. It’s an interesting slot, as UCLA and San Diego State also play each other on Big Ten Network at the same time.
But the Badgers will get a night game at Camp Randall Stadium for their home opener, and it’s expected to be a blowout, according to the odds.
