I am not sure that it was on my bingo card, or anyone’s, that the New York Giants would be in first place in the NFC East without the services of Jaxson Dart. Now, regardless of how this season goes, I believe Dart is still the guy next season. This seems to be the product of a competent coaching staff.
While we do miss seeing Dart on the field, there are still plenty of former Rebs doing their thing across the NFL.
AJ Brown caught three balls for 48 yards in his second game back from injury.
DK Metcalf
had a very DK stat line in Paris: 2 catches for 56 yards with a long of 51.
Laquon Treadwell continues to get run for Indy, catching both of his targets for 19 yards. Kapena Gushiken also got in the box score for the Colts with a tackle.
Jordan Watkins hauled in the longest pass of the game for either side (35 yards), on his way to three catches for 56 yards.
Princely Umanmielen recorded two tackles, including one for a loss.
JJ Pegues also notched two tackles for the Raiders.
Elijah Moore caught both of his targets for the Eagles, for 16 yards.
A relatively quiet week for our former Rebs. Regulars like Tavius Robinson, Walter Nolen, Evan Engram and DJ Jones were not much of a factor in week 7. Still waiting for one of those monster, player of the week, type performances from someone!
