The Golden State Warriors lost another tough game on Sunday night, falling 136-131 to the Portland Trail Blazers. It was, yet again, a game in which Steph Curry was spectacular and seemingly nobody else
understood how to play basketball.
Let’s take a look at how fans viewed the action, as seen through live comments in the Golden State of Mind game thread.
First quarter: ‘We’re getting schooled’
It wasn’t the greatest start to the game, though it was competitive. The Warriors kept themselves in the running, and trailed 34-31 after one.
Second quarter: ‘You can’t make this stuff up’
It was an at-times slopping second quarter, but the Dubs took a 62-61 advantage into the locker rooms.
Third quarter: ‘Super-Steph!!!“
The third quarter was all about Curry, who got the hottest of hot hands and led the team to a 99-96 lead.
Fourth quarter: ‘Bullying us with their size’
The Warriors were once again done in by a huge, uninterrupted run by their opponent in the fourth quarter, and a close game turned into a loss.
