Conor McGregor will be watching closely as Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira square off later tonight (Sat., March 7, 2026) at UFC 326 LIVE on Paramount from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., but “Notorious” doesn’t believe the main event rematch should be considered a “BMF” fight.
Saturday’s event will mark the second time Holloway is trying to defend his “BMF” title after winning it off Justin Gaethje back at UFC 300. Some might consider the belt a gimmick by UFC, but “BMF” fights have turned
out to be some of the best action fight fans have ever seen. It’s become somewhat of a respected belt and a piece of hardware most UFC fighters would love to get their hands on.
McGregor, who is still plotting his long-awaited Octagon return, recently offered up his prediction for UFC 326’s main event while trashing it at the same time. “Notorious” doesn’t believe Holloway vs. Oliveira 2 should be considered a “BMF” fight since both men cut so much weight and also because McGregor claims he’d easily beat both veterans.
Check it out below and let us know if you at all agree with McGregor!
“I don’t feel the BMF title is accurate here also with both men suffering in the sauna to make the limit. There is zero BMF about this,” said McGregor. “For me vs either opponent next I feel supremely confident.
“I stop both men in their tracks. I am a bad man with a good heart, so I may add the BMF belt to my collection.”
