The Jets lost to the previously winless Dolphins in Week 7 to fall to 2-5. As one might expect fan confidence in this team is not at a high level. Our weekly SB Nation Reacts fan poll proves as much.
Fan confidence wasn’t terribly high to begin with. A week ago it was at 33 percent following the team’s ugly road loss to the New England Patriots.
It feels very much like this season is on the brink of collapse. A loss today to the Raiders will send this team’s record to 2-6. With matchups against the Kansas
City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills coming over the next two weeks, the competitive portion of the 2026 season will likely be over, and these polls will drop close to zero.
A win doesn’t necessarily save the season, but it at least stops the negative momentum and gives this team a small chance to get back on track.
