Toni Fernandez is back to full fitness and was back with the first-team squad on Tuesday as Hansi Flick put his players through their paces.
The Barcelona boss is currently without a host of players due to international duty and has also lost Raphinha to injury, meaning Fernandez could be in with a shot of some first-team minutes in the coming weeks.
The teenager is back in action after recovering from an ankle injury and will be hoping he can convince Flick to give him another chance with the senior
squad.
His last appearance for Barcelona’s first team came back in October in the 2-1 La Liga win over Girona, with reports claiming he dropped back down to Barca Atletic as Flick felt he “he needed playing time and match fitness.”
Fernandez’s wasn’t the only youngster in training on Tuesday. Brian Farinas, Alvaro Cortes, Tommy Marques and Emilio Bernard also took part in the session.
