To fill their two coaching vacancies, the Guardians have raided the Seattle Mariners this offseason, hiring Tony Arnerich and Andy McKay as their bench coach and on-field coordinator, respectively.

Meisel of the Athletic reported that Arnerich, who had served as the Mariners’ bullpen coach in 2025, would be the hire to replace Craig Albernaz as bench coach:
