WWE NXT’s Vengeance Day premium live event will take place tonight (Sat., Mar. 6th, 2026) from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. While there will be a “Countdown” pre-show, the premium live event itself begins at 7 p.m. ET — streaming on Peacock in the U.S., and on Netflix pretty much everywhere else.
The show will feature two title matches, including one for the developmental brand’s top prize. A lot of the future of WWE’s women’s division will be on display: in Vengeance Day’s other championship
affair, and in two stipulation matches from intense feuds.
It can be a lot to keep up with, even if you watch every week. Luckily for you Cagesiders, our staff of learned wrestling blowhards is here to help figure out just how the event is going to play out with predictions for each match on the card.
Let’s get to it.
WWE NXT VENGEANCE DAY PREDICTIONS
Men’s NXT championship: Joe Hendry (c) vs. Ricky Saints
Geno Mrosko: I don’t know that Hendry works as champion but after that segment on NXT this past Tuesday night, I don’t know that Saints should ever hold gold again. My word, that was bad. Pick: Joe Hendry
Sean Rueter: At this point, it seems pretty clear whose ceiling is higher in WWE. That seems like as good a basis for picking as anything else. Pick: Joe Hendry
Claire Elizabeth: Can I pick the ring imploding and both these guys getting sucked into the earth? No? Okay that’s overstating it, I find Hendry charming in small doses and I’ll accept that I may be the problem when it comes to Ricky Saints, but it all adds up to the least interested program for the NXT Men’s Championship in years. I think Ricky has what it takes here (especially with the Vanity Project lurking in the background) but I’m not confident about it. Pick: Ricky Saints
Marcus Benjamin: I really liked Ricky in AEW. And I liked his initial heel turn in NXT. But the shine is wearing off for me with his latest segment being the straw that broke my back. And my soul. I can’t in good conscience pick him to win anything after that. Pick: Joe Hendry
M. G0MEZ: NXT hasn’t been the same since losing Oba Femi, Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans. Entertaining as he is, Joe Hendry’s act doesn’t feel like that of a top champion. NXT needs a shot of adrenaline only a top-tier heel can bring. Pick: Ricky Saints
Josh Jagler: The NXT Championship has ’hot-potatoed’ a bit in the last few months, but I just don’t see that happening here. I think Joe is better chasing the title than he is with it, so I think he’ll be dropping it soon, but I think that’s happening at Stand and Deliver in a Triple Threat with Ricky and Ethan. Pick: Joe Hendry
Women’s North American championship: Izzi Dame (c) vs. Tatum Paxley
Geno Mrosko: It feels like they’re reaching their upper limits with Paxley but there is a ceiling to find on the other side. Pick: Izzi Dame
Sean Rueter: She won their match at New Year’s Evil, but it still feels like The Culling have gotten the best of Paxley A LOT (including Dame’s title win overshadowing Tatum beating her at the NYE). But it also doesn’t feel like Izzi’s reign has been established enough to make a ending it feel terribly meaningful. Guessing we string this along to something with a more gnarly stip at Stand & Deliver. Pick: Izzi Dame
Claire Elizabeth: I want it I want it I want it we didn’t get enough the last time she had a title more Tatum, gosh-darnit! AND Izzi is physically talented enough but something about her character work is lacking, and maybe just maybe losing to the loser dork she thinks is nothing without her might break something inside her in a fun way. Pick: Tatum Paxley
Marcus Benjamin: The build for this was mental and emotional rather than purely physical. I don’t mind that. But that makes it a bit harder to decide the winner since there’s no traditional momentum. But I’m picking who I want to win not necessarily who makes sense. Pick: Tatum Paxley
M. G0MEZ: This feud comes full circle. Izzi Dame cost Tatum Paxley the N.A. title after a brief alliance ended in betrayal. Now Paxley seeks retribution. After Dame ran her down on Tuesday, Paxley must win to prove she’s not “pathetic.” Pick: Tatum Paxley
Josh Jagler: I feel similarly about Tatum as I do about Joe, in that, I think Tatum is better chasing. This match at Vengeance Day doesn’t feel like the end between these two. My bet is on Spears and Niko getting involved somehow to help Izzi retain, and then Tatum winning a blowoff match with a stipulation (steel cage maybe?) at Stand & Deliver next month. Pick: Izzi Dame
Street Fight: Blake Monroe vs. Jaida Parker
Geno Mrosko: This one should be great, especially if they keep the same energy they’ve had in recent meet ups. The match type allows for it, and I’m expecting them to tear the house down. Pick: Blake Monroe
Sean Rueter: There’s a “Blake’s dream job goes to shiz” angle that could play out given her recent booking, leaning into the “Whatever happened to Mariah May?” vibes her run’s already had. Ms. Parker is already over enough with the PC crowd that she’s virtually loss-proof. Given that neither “needs” the win, might as well help change the narrative on The Glamour. Pick: Blake Monroe
Claire Elizabeth: It sure seems like everything that can go wrong for Blake Monroe has been going wrong, and it’s tempting to assume that’s gonna carry forward to this match, but her luck’s gotta change some time, right? Pick: Blake Monroe
Marcus Benjamin: I refuse to pick against my girl. Pick:Jaida Parker
M. G0MEZ: Blake Monroe is battle-tested, proving herself in AEW against Toni Storm. In kayfabe, that should make her the favorite over Jaida Parker, who won’t push her to the same extremes within the milder confines of NXT. In reality, I expect Monroe to look strong in defeat as she does the honors before moving to the main roster. Pick: Jaida Parker
Josh Jagler: Blake Monroe has been losing quite a bit lately, so part of me thinks she’ll win because she needs it more. I just have this feeling that Blake is going to continue losing and tapping in to a darker side of her character and a loss to Jaida could help that process along a bit. Pick: Jaida Parker
Underground match: Kelani Jordan vs. Lola Vice
Geno Mrosko: This is like beating Undertaker’s streak. It ain’t happening, until it does. But just not now. Get it? Pick: Lola Vice
Sean Rueter: It’s her signature match, yet she’s still getting the underdog story. That seems like a tell. Pick: Lola Vice
Claire Elizabeth: Lola is in her environment and she’s gonna kick the smug clean out of Kelani’s face. Pick: Lola Vice
Marcus Benjamin: The story is setting this up as a huge comeback victory for Lola. She’s got the busted hand that may derail her career if she hurts it again. Kelani can take the L and keep going forward since I don’t think she’s long for NXT. Pick: Lola Vice
M. G0MEZ: Lola Vice is 3-0 entering her fourth Underground contest. She faces Kelani Jordan, a gymnast with barely a day of MMA training under Shayna Baszler, who thinks gymnastics will carry her past the former Bellator star. How preposterous. That said… Pick: Kelani Jordan
Josh Jagler: The focus leading up to this has been on making Kelani seem like a legitimate threat. She has attacked Lola’s hand and enlisted Shayna Baszler’s help to get her ready for the Underground. I think they will try to thread the needle here by giving Kelani the rub but having Lola keep her Underground match winning streak alive. Pick: Lola Vice
Tony D’Angelo vs. Dion Lennox
Geno Mrosko: He has to win, right? Pick: Tony D’Angelo
Sean Rueter: I gave Tony D and his various gimmicks a fair shot, I swear. But I’m all the way out. Why give a win to guy you probably need to repackage? Pick: Dion Lennox
Claire Elizabeth: Tony D has vengeance on his mind and hey what do you know, that’s in the name of the show! Easy peasy. Pick: Tony D’Angelo
Marcus Benjamin: Tony D has to win this match for anything he’s done recently to make sense or prove worthwhile. Pick: Tony D’Angelo
M. G0MEZ: The story mandates that D’Angelo wins to complete his journey back after losing everything. I just hope this is better than their promo battle last Tuesday. Pick: Tony D’Angelo
Josh Jagler: Tony seems to be anxious to move on to whatever the mysterious ’Phase 2’ of his comeback plan is. I just don’t think disposing of DarkState is going to be this easy for him. If he beats Lennox clean here, that would really knock DarkState down several pegs, and I just don’t see them doing that. I think this story beat will carry on for at least a few more months. Pick: Tony D’Angelo by DQ
