The Cincinnati Bengals front office has officially gone ‘all in’ this offseason as the team is now in a win-now mode entering the 2026 season.
The Bengals signed multiple top free agents like Bryan Cook, Boye Mafe, Jonathan Allen, and Kyle Dugger, to name a few, but they also traded for superstar Dexter Lawrence.
These were all efforts to turn the ship around as quickly as possible after the team missed the postseason for the third straight season.
An unhappy Joe Burrow making concerning comments to
close the regular season seemed to be enough to help push the front office to get a better roster built… ASAP.
Burrow was in front of the media on Wednesday for the first time since the season ended, and he shared his thoughts on the offseason with everyone.
“We’ve got everything we need in that locker room. We just have to go make it happen. We’re gonna win a lot of games this year and play great and win the Super Bowl,” Burrow stated.
Burrow was asked about his thoughts on the offseason as a whole, and he made it clear the front office has done its job.
“The front office has taken a lot of heat from the fans, the public, and the media. We can put all of that behind us,” Burrow said. “They went and made it happen with free agency. And then obviously with Dexter (Lawrence, making a trade like that, that doesn’t happen a ton in the NFL, so it’s exciting to see.”
It is no secret that the Bengals have to get back to the postseason in 2026, and Burrow made it clear that the energy is ready to roll in the building.
“We’ve got guys that work really hard to put themselves in position to perform well, perform to our standard,” Burrow said. “We haven’t necessarily done that for a couple of years, so we brought some guys in who have been there and done that and have their own standard of play and are going to live up to that. Now we just have to come together as a unit and do it as a collective.”
After this offseason, it is hard not to be incredibly excited for the season, and hearing Burrow’s thoughts is the cherry on top.
