We’ve reached the final weekend of NFL preseason for the Seattle Seahawks (and the rest of the league, of course). The Seahawks are on the road for a game against the Green Bay Packers. We’ve already had these teams have a feisty joint scrimmage, but ideally the hostilities are kept to a minimum on Saturday.
While there are still roster battles at stake for both the Seahawks and Packers, the story of this game is Jalen Milroe. The third-round rookie quarterback is getting the whole game to showcase
his abilities, but before you salivate at the thought of him throwing to Jaxon Smith-Njigba or running read-option with Kenneth Walker III, the starters are expected to sit. It’s nevertheless going to be an extensive look at Milroe and that might be reason enough to tune in and watch from start to finish.
The Packers may have some starters playing this afternoon, but it would presumably be extremely limited work for the first-string. Malik Willis will presumably get the start at quarterback in place of Jordan Love, who just came back from thumb surgery.
KING-5 NBC has the game at 1 pm PT, or alternatively you can watch on Seahawks.com or NFL Network depending on where you are in the world.
