The second of three injury reports have dropped for the Chargers this week and it’s not getting much better now less than 72 hours away from Sunday’s kickoff against the Broncos.
For the second day in a row, safety Derwin James did not practice. That’s unfortunate news given he missed last week’s game with an injury that limited him to just two practices (both limited) in Week Four, as well. Same goes for Donte Jackson who left before halftime on Sunday with a hamstring injury. He was also a DNP for the second day.
For the most part, the Thursday report echoes Wednesday’s list with a few changes. Khalil Mack was back in full after a veteran’s day off while rookie wideout Brenen Thompson (hamstring) was a DNP on Thursday after practicing on Wednesday in a limited fashion.
Tight end Charlie Kolar (forearm), defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson (hamstring), and offensive guard Branson Taylor were all limited for the second consecutive day. All three are trending to potentially return this week for the Chargers.
