The UFC White House
viewership was released earlier this week and for those of you unfamiliar with how this game is played, networks like to tinker with times, demographics, and locations to squeeze out the best possible number. Conversely, critics play the Uno reverse card and use that same criteria to weaken the final figure.Allow this former Showtime “weasel” to show you how it’s done.
UFC White House streamed on Paramount+ last Sunday from the South Lawn in Washington, DC. It was an electric fight
card with multiple finishes and high drama, living up to the hype and making a legend out of longtime lightweight “Highlight” reel, Justin Gaethje.
But did the “monstrous” numbers outperform MVP’s “Rousey vs. Carano” fight card on Netflix?

“As a boxing promoter it feels good waking up today being the biggest MMA promoter,” MVP co-founder Jake Paul wrote on social media.
Netflix has approximately 325 million paid subscribers (globally) compared to 79.6 million for Paramount+, which added UFC to its streaming portfolio (at above market cost) at the beginning of 2026.
Maybe every single subscriber streamed it twice?
“Tremendous success for UFC 250, which is great for the continued growth of the sport, the fighters and the fans,” said MVP co-founder and former UFC executive, Nakisa Bidarian. “MVP MMA had Netflix. UFC 250 had the White House and one of the most recognized global figures in history in President Trump. Only winners here in all scenarios. And UFC 250 was an amazing production, whether you agreed with the location or not. UFC is by far the most dominant brand — the reference brand for the sport of MMA. For MVP MMA to be in the same ballpark of viewership for their biggest event ever is damn good. Don’t care who was higher. Congrats to all.”
He doesn’t care who was higher and Daniel Cormier was hacked.
The difference between UFC and MVP is that UFC is less than a month away from another monster number on Paramount+, thanks to the return of Conor McGregor at UFC 329 in Las Vegas. As for Paul and Bidarian, they don’t have a second MVP MMA event in the works, nor do they have a network to stream it if they did.
