Football Dots
- This weekend will be the first weekend for official visitors for UW in the 2027 recruiting cycle. Currently there are 11 official visitors expected this weekend including 5 that are currently committed to UW (QB Blake Roskopf, RB Jeremy Adeyanju, WR Zerek Sidney, LB Titus Osterman, and DL Matamatagi Uiagalelei). Of the uncommitted visitors, 3 are CB’s (Jailen Hill, Evan Mack, and Kamil Loud), 2 are Edges (Chaz Gray and Jag Ioane), and the other is WR Dontay Tyson. Both Tyson and Gray are on Luke and Aaron’s 2027 Recruiting Big Board 2.0.
- Dan Raley continues his look at the players on UW’s roster, this time looking at Edge transfer from Ohio State, Logan George. He started college at Utah State, transferred to Idaho State, then to Ohio State. Now he’s at UW. Unfortunately, he has battled injuries at Ohio State and in spring practices at UW. Fisch thinks that he can be a help to UW: “He’ll be one of those guys that does a lot of great things for us,” Fisch said.
- Christian Caple looks at ($) 4 ‘swing’ games which could define UW’s season.
- CBS Sports ranks Jedd Fisch #32 among current FBS Power-4 coaches. Their ranking of coaches 68-26 is here, and their ranking of the top-25 is here. Not surprisingly, 4 of their top-10 are in the Big Ten.
- It’s never too early to get excited for this season.
