Trade rumors are supposed to be fun, but they can get very serious and some can be rather heated, so allow me to present to you the idea of the Los Angeles Rams making a trade with the New York Giants for Kayvon Thibodeaux.
Thibodeaux is an incredibly talented former top pick, but if the Giants are open to trading him, then he hasn’t really lived up to where they selected him has he? Of course, sometimes a change of scenery is what a player needs and Thibodeaux could provide a boost to the Rams, but is he worth
the cost? It’s all speculation, and that’s part of the fun.
We are approaching June, and there is always NFL to talk about but some times of the year are more exciting than others. We’ll keep plugging along until we reach the season. Until then (and after then), thanks for checking out Turf Show Times!
ESPN analyst proposes trade for Rams to land former top-5 pick from Giants (ramswire)
“One player who could be on the block is Giants star Kayvon Thibodeaux, who’s blocked by Brian Burns and Abdul Carter on the depth chart. Not to mention, New York also added Arvell Reese with the fifth overall pick last month.
Thibodeaux was drafted No. 5 by the Giants in 2022 and will make $14.75 million on the fifth-year option this season. That’s a feasible one-year deal for the Rams to acquire in a trade, which is why they could be a fit for the former Oregon Duck.“
Rams trade rumors swirl after ESPN floats Kayvon Thibodeaux deal (nypost)
“The Rams already have one of the NFL’s most dangerous young defensive fronts, but a hypothetical trade for Kayvon Thibodeaux could turn a strength into a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks.
ESPN’s Seth Walder recently floated a deal that would send Thibodeaux and a 2028 sixth-round pick to LA for a 2028 third-rounder.
On paper, it looks like, what Walder called, a “rich get richer” move. In reality, it may solve one of the Rams’ sneakiest roster concerns: depth.“

Random Ramsdom Fandom:
“I don’t see Klare making an impact week 1 or year 1. That’s just McVay’s MO. He is going to trust Higbee and Parkinson. I do expect Ferguson to get more snaps and quite a bit more production in year 2. His 21 ypc and 27% TD to reception ratio are elite. If he can keep those numbers and catch 40 balls…we are talking 840 yards and 11 TDs. I think Ferg and Klare will be a great future tandem, but not in 2026.” -RammingSpeed
