On Monday morning, following the conclusion of the final phase of the Kansas City Chiefs’ offseason workouts, the team announced a formal schedule for full-team training camp practices.
According to Senior Team Reporter Matt McMullen,
the Chiefs will report to the campus of Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri, during the final week of July. The first practices available for fans to attend will be on Wednesday, July 29, and Thursday, July 30, the first day being exclusive to Season Ticket Members.
The general public will be able to reserve tickets beginning on this coming Wednesday, June 17th, at 10:00 a.m. Arrowhead Time. To learn more about attending camp, click here.
Typically, the rookies and quarterbacks report to camp a few days earlier than the rest of the 90-man offseason roster. No dates have been announced for that routine, but regardless, the entire team will be on the field at 9:15 a.m on the last Wednesday of July for the first of 16 practices open to public viewing.
In the past, the Chiefs and head coach Andy Reid favored a few practices without the veterans to shake the rust off the quarterbacks, offer the rookies a refresher and reestablish the foundation built at rookie minicamp and organized team activities (OTAs).
The rookie and quarterback practices, which would likely be between July 24 and July 28, are typically not open to the public, but the media is permitted to cover them.
We will update the site with those formal dates once the club announces them.
