Per a release from its club website, Bayern Munich has brought in striker Bara Sapoko Ndiaye on loan from Gambinos Stars Africa.
The 19-year-old has found his way to Bavaria through the Red&Gold Football
initiative:
FC Bayern have signed striker Bara Sapoko Ndiaye on loan from Gambinos Stars Africa. The 18-year-old has been given an initial contract until 30 June 2026. Due to a slight injury, he will link up with the first team after the start of training.
Gambinos Stars Africa is a football academy in Gambia, which since 2023 has cooperated with Red&Gold Football, a joint venture between FC Bayern and Los Angeles FC.
As of now, it is unclear if the plan is for Ndiaye to stay with the first team or spend time with FC Bayern II or the U-19s. Regardless, Bayern Munich will have ample time to take a long look at the attacker and make an assessment on where his career might be going.
