Portland Trail Blazers second-year center Donovan Clingan may be out of action tomorrow against the Memphis Grizzlies, according to the NBA’s 8:30pm Eastern official injury report:
Clingan, Donovan: Questionable
Injury/Illness- Left Lower Leg; Contusion
Henderson, Scoot: Out – Injury/Illness- Left Hamstring; Tear
Holiday, Jrue: Out – Injury/Illness- Right Calf; Strain
Lillard, Damian: Out – Injury/Illness- Left Achilles Tendon; Injury Management
Thybulle, Matisse: Out – Injury/Illness- Left Thumb; Ligament Tear
Wesley, Blake: Out – Injury/Illness- Right Foot; Fracture
The injury report, which the NBA updates hourly, contained no other surprises for the Blazers. Clingan was also listed as questionable with the same injury ahead of Portland’s loss yesterday to the Detroit Pistons. Clingan was later listed as “out” and did not play.
Memphis has upgraded Ja Morant from “doubtful” to “questionable” with a right calf strain that has kept him out of his last nine contests in a season that has been (by almost every metric) the worst of his career. The Grizzlies also have a handful of absences, but it doesn’t include any players who were active in their last game, a 107-98 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
