The initial availability report for Tennessee’s clash with the Arkansas Razorbacks is out, and it had good and bad news on it.
The Vols will indeed continue to be without one of their most important players but will be getting some help back in a key area as well.

CB Jermod McCoy is officially listed as out for the game. Josh Heupel indicated that he likely wouldn’t be ready, and that is confirmed with tonight’s report. McCoy continues to work to get back from a torn ACL he suffered during workouts
away from the team back in January.
However, we will see the return of DL Daevin Hobbs. Hobbs suffered an injury during training camp in August and hasn’t been able to go yet this season. He will provided a much-needed boost in the middle of the defensive line along with Jaxson Moi, who returned himself last week from an injury he suffered in the opener against Syracuse.
The other players out besides McCoy are WR Radarius Jackon and CB Rickey Gibson III, which were expected. Tennessee has one player listed as questionable in TE Ethan Davis, so the Vols, relatively speaking, are in a pretty good place on the injury front outside of the absence of their starting cornerback duo.
