It has not been the easiest season for Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala as he seeks to fully recover from a catastrophic leg injury suffered at the Club World Cup last summer.
There have been glimpses of Musiala’s greatness, but also some struggles with his how he feels physically and mentally. For German national team boss Julian Nagelsmann, there has been a steady improvement by Musiala since his return to action.
“Jamal has been getting better and better. He’s becoming more and more the player he was
before the injury. Even if Jamal were only at 95 percent, he’s still one of the most exceptional players on this planet. I’m incredibly happy he’s back and will help us,” Nagelsmann said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Musiala figures to be an integral member of the squad and a vital piece of the attacking group. Teaming with Liverpool star Florian Wirtz, the duo will likely have to shoulder a lot of the load for scoring and creating goals for Germany.
