Barcelona pulled off another surprise signing in this summer transfer window as the Catalans have reportedly agreed a €10 million deal with Arsenal for Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus.
The 29-year-old will sign a two-year deal with the option for a third and is Barça’s choice to add a striker to the squad after the departures of Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres.
Julián Álvarez remains the dream and Barça will try for his signing until the end of this window, but the Catalans have brought in an experienced
forward with tons of success for Manchester City and Arsenal, although he is coming off a major ACL injury.
Gabriel Jesus has always dreamed of playing for Barça and will finally get his chance, and the Blaugrana hope to have made a shrewd signing to improve their attacking depth at the end of the window.
