Last Sunday in CMLL, Bandido was pinned by Volador Jr. in singles action. Volador Jr. requested a shot at the ROH World Championship, and the match was granted for Friday night (May 22, 2026) in Arena Mexico. This time, the result was different.
The finish was spicy. Volador Jr. kicked out of the 21 Plex. Bandido kicked out of the Mexican Destroyer. The champ gained the upper hand on the turnbuckles for a moonsault slam to set up a deadlift 21 Plex for victory. This is the first time that Bandido defeated
Volador in a one-on-one bout.
