I don’t know what last Friday in Louisville was. I’m not sure anyone can call that football. But hey it worked for Clemson and the Tigers somehow eked out a win. Sometimes special teams and playing disciplined
football matters. The good thing I guess is the Tigers weren’t terrible, except for 3rd down on offense. It was just a football game, no more, no less.
And now we are back with our annually scheduled November cupcake. Today the Furman Paladins arrive in Death Valley for Senior Day. I know we all love these cupcake games, especially late in the season. The perfect way to go prep for Thanksgiving and not care about the game at hand. Until we try to pull a Gamecock or something. Just getting out of this one healthy is going to be critical. And getting some reps with what is at this point a rag tag OL thanks to all the injuries
There isn’t a whole lot to say here. Hopefully the seniors get plenty of playing time and can enjoy the afternoon while the team gets healthy. Unfortunately the Tigers won’t have a chance to knock the Gamecocks out of bowl eligibility next week (Their absolute letdown last week assured us of that) it’s really all that is left to play for in what is a rather disappointing and depressing season.
As always join us in the comments below for this one.
