After two consecutive draws, Bayern Munich need a response against RB Leipzig. Vincent Kompany must get his team selection right, find the right balance across the pitch, and make sure Bayern Munich returns to winning ways before the huge Champions League clash with Arsenal.
Here is what we would do with the lineup for this Bundesliga showdown:
- GK: Manuel Neuer
- RB: Konrad Laimer
- CB: Dayot Upamecano
- CB: Jonathan Tah
- LB: Alphonso Davies
- CM: Joshua Kimmich
- CM: Aleksandar Pavlović
- RW: Michael Olise
- CAM: Serge Gnabry
- LW: Luis Díaz
- ST: Harry Kane
Kompany has to stick with a strong attacking lineup, using Olise and Díaz to stretch Leipzig’s defense while Gnabry operates centrally behind Kane. Kimmich
and Pavlović would provide the foundation in midfield, with the defensive unit needing to be far more reliable after Bayern Munich’s recent struggles.
This is not the time to overcomplicate things. FC Bayern needs intensity, clinical finishing, and better individual performances to get back on track. RB Leipzig will be a serious test, and three points would provide a much-needed boost ahead of the Arsenal match next week.
What would you change? Would you stick with this XI or make some adjustments of your own? Who deserves to start against Leipzig? Tell us in the comments.
