Serby: There’s a good reason behind John Harbaugh’s tough Giants training camp stance | New York Post
Giants players should expect Camp HARDbaugh in the summer from John Harbaugh, because this is the only way a successful head coach who inherits a Losing Syndrome knows how to transform the mentality of the team.
Harbaugh’s first Giants training camp, beginning July 29 at the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia, will serve to reinforce the rapid strides in transforming the Giants mentality that he has already made.

Detailing Jaxson Dart’s ‘quest for perfection’ and growing pains as QB1 | The Record
Andrew Thomas’ response came with a chuckle.
The mere suggestion that New York Giants quarterback and teammate Jaxson Dart could come back for his second season in the NFL with more confidence than he showed as a rookie is laughable.
“Honestly, I wouldn’t say confidence has changed,” Thomas said earlier this spring with a wry smile. “Jaxson has always had that moxie, that confidence, the way he plays. But I will say I think he’s doing a better job of just communicating with everybody as far as what he sees, the way he wants us to block certain things or routes, different coverages and picking up pressures.

RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. Quick! Name the three Giants to record at least 1,000 yards from scrimmage in each of their first two NFL seasons. Saquon Barkley, yes. Odell Beckham Jr., yes. The third? That’s right: Tyrone Tracy Jr. He watched Cam Skattebo take over the lead role in the backfield last year before Skattebo got hurt, and then Tracy came back and showed his talent as a runner and a pass catcher. He had 269 yards from scrimmage in a two-game span when the Giants played the Packers and the Lions tough, and he finished the year with a 159-yard day against the Cowboys. Mostly a wide receiver in college, Tracy is continuing to improve as a runner. He’ll get to show that, especially if Skattebo’s recovery from a gruesome leg injury leaks into the season or limits him in general.
Giants’ Malachi Fields taking “a ton” of first team reps at minicamp | USAToday.com
New York Giants rookie Malachi Fields has been taking “a ton” of reps with the first-team offense this spring. Fields, a standout performer throughout his collegiate career at Virginia and Notre Dame. could quickly carve out an everyday role in New York’s offense during his rookie campaign.
The talented route runner has seen significant snaps with the first-team offense and is expected to continue during training camp this summer, especially with Malik Nabers (knee) and Darius Slayton (sports hernia) still recovering.

It looked as if the Giants were going to have a monster three-man kicking competition this summer at training camp. But it turns out, it’s probably over before the end of spring with mandatory minicamp likely the clincher. Undrafted rookie Dominic Zvada was perfect Monday on eight field goal attempts. He went 5-for-5 on Tuesday. Coach John Harbaugh said he has been performing that way all spring. “Consistent,” Harbaugh said.
Meanwhile, Ben Sauls struggled badly for the third straight practice open to reporters. He has made seven of 14 attempts at minicamp, days after looking bad while hitting only six of 12. Almost all his misses have been left, which Harbaugh says is a positive. They know the problem. Now, he has to fix it.

K Dominic Zvada, New York Giants. Although Zvada wasn’t taken in the 2026 draft, he landed in the perfect location to compete for a starting kicker spot. The G-Men lacked a strong incumbent option, with Ben Sauls only appearing in the final three games of his rookie season. While he was 8-for-8 on field goals and 7-for-7 on extra points in those contests, Sauls was far from a lock to make new head coach John Harbaugh’s roster.
