Texas Athletics announced earlier today its intentions to light UT Tower after the beach volleyball program won the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championship — the program’s conference.

“In its first season in the conference, Texas captured the MPSF tournament title Friday with wins over No. 1 UCLA, No. 5 USC and No. 6 Grand Canyon. The Longhorns were selected as the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Championship earlier Sunday, the highest in program history. Texas will face Georgia
State in the first round at Gulf Shores, Alabama.”
