The Washington Commanders are 1-2 after their upset win over the Seattle Seahawks. They were led by new team captain Marcus Mariota who took over for Jayden Daniels last week when he re-injured his left elbow. Mariota took advantage of Washington’s defense forcing multiple turnovers, including a Kain Medrano pick-6, to lead the Commanders to their first win of the season.
They won’t have much time to celebrate the win as they get ready for their international game in London against the Indianapolis
Colts next Sunday morning. Indianapolis also got their first win of the season over division rival Houston Texans today. They lost to the Ravens and Chiefs the last two weeks, so they were also given a tough opening schedule to start the season by the league.

Opening odds for the Commanders have them as 3.5-point “home” underdogs against the Indianapolis Colts in London. The Over/Under opens at 47.5 which seems low. Daniel Jones probably had this game circled for some nostalgia from his NFC East days with the Giants.
