Welcome to another Miami Hurricanes game day everyone! The first one that has Miami in the College Football Playoffs!
To open the CFP, Miami travels to College Station, TX to take on the 7th seeded 11-1
Texas A&M Aggies. Been waiting for moments of consequence like these for a long time. I’m super excited to see that dream come to fruition. But this is just the beginning. Work to be done to get where we truly desire to be.

College Football Playoff injury report by me
The late Friday update to the injury report:
- LB Malik Bryant, WR Daylyn Upshaw, and DB Damari Brown are all out. Of these, Brown is the biggest absence for Miami. He’s been stellar this year, but a bit unheralded with others in the secondary taking the headlines.
- Speaking of headliners, Nickel Keionte Scott is probable. He’ll likely go through pre-game warmups to decide his final status. This is a BIG DEAL for Miami’s defense in a vacuum, but even bigger now with another starting DB (Brown) out for the game.
- For A&M, RB Le’Veon Moss is questionable. He’ll also likely go through pre-game warmups before a final decision on his availability is made.
- UPDATE: Scott slated to play per reports
And here are your uniforms for the game: Stormtroopers.
Your captains for the playoff opener: DE Rueben Bain Jr., TE Alex Bauman, LB Wesley Bissainthe, RG Anez Cooper, RB Mark Fletcher Jr., RT Francis Mauigoa, DE Akheem Mesidor, and LB Mo Toure.
This is the moment we’ve been waiting for. Miami’s return to a post-season game of consequence! PLAYOFFS, WE HERE!!!!!!!!!
Hop in the comments and discuss the action as it happens.
