There is no more pondering about whether the Falcons can finally win a game. They produced a definitive performance that could set the blueprint for success. With two of their top stars at their best and a measured quarterback performance following a shaky start, the offense looked rejuvenated with Michael Penix Jr. under center. They looked far more capable and diverse in tearing apart Green Bay’s defense.
Jeff Ulbrich produced another primetime masterclass. Unlike last year, his defense did it on
the road under enormous pressure. They harassed Jordan Love and forced Matt LaFleur’s offense into becoming one-dimensional.
With standout showings from C.J. Henderson and Cameron Thomas, the beloved defensive coordinator is proving once again how much he can elevate talent, regardless of their past shortcomings and current limitations.
Entering a stretch of three consecutive primetime games, the question before Thursday night was which matchup aligns best for the Falcons to earn a much-needed victory. As much as fans are already ingraining themselves into hate week, they firmly thought the Falcons had the best shot at beating the Packers. They were spot on.

A dominant win like that will boost what is understandably a low confidence rating after an abysmal performance against Carolina. Kevin Stefanski, Tommy Rees, and Ulbrich deserve enormous credit for delivering tremendous game plans and building up team unity to give the squad the lift they needed in a hostile environment after two ugly defeats.
They will now prepare to play in another hostile environment with America watching against their biggest rivals.
