Christian Collins, a 5-star small forward from St. John Bosco in California, has trimmed his list to three. Collins, who is the No. 12-ranked player in the 2026 class at Rivals, has included Kentucky, USC, and UCLA in his final schools, according to Joe Tipton.
The California native has included two top-tier programs in his home state in his final list. Before cutting his list to 3, Collins received offers from Tennessee, Oregon, and many others.
Collins is one of the most talented players in the 2026
class. His 7-foot-plus wingspan helps him cover the court exceptionally well. The 6-foot-8 SF is very active on the defensive side of the floor. Collins ended his EYBL summer circuit averaging 8.3 rebounds and a couple of blocks.
Collins’ offensive game is still a work in progress; he’s terrific in transition and on the glass, but beyond that, he is still searching for a smooth foundation. He averaged 12.5 points on 42% shooting and only shot 21% from 3-point range this summer during EYBL.
Mark Pope and the Wildcats are still in search of their first 2026 commit. With a few recruits starting to set their commitment dates, the ‘Cats coaching staff should be expecting to pick up their first one of the cycle.
For what it’s worth, KSR’s Jacob Polacheck previously reported that USC was expected to be the pick.
