Players selected on Day 3 of the NFL Draft are not ones teams are counting on to be stars. They simply hope for contributors, and many of these late-round picks carve out long, successful NFL careers.
The New York Giants had only three picks on the third day of the 2026 NFL Draft, all in Round 6. They selected defensive tackle Bobby Jamison-Travis No. 186, offensive lineman J.C. Davis No. 192, and linebacker Jack Kelly No. 193.
Today, we are asking you which player you believe will have the best NFL
career.
At first blush, it would seem that Jamison-Travis could have the biggest 2026 impact. With Dexter Lawrence traded to the Cincinnati Bengals, and no established veteran nose tackle yet signed, the 6-foot-3¾, 328-pound Jamison-Travis has the clearest path to early playing time.
Davis, a collegiate left tackle who could end up being cross-trained as a four-position backup, could be an important offensive line piece long term. In the short term, though, playing time seems unlikely unless there are a rash of significant injuries.
Kelly might be my choice as most likely to outplay his draft stock long term, though his initial contributions will almost certainly have to be on special teams. Kelly could knock either Micah McFadden or Darius Muasau off the roster.
