The Philadelphia Eagles are 9-5 heading into their Week 16 matchup against the Washington Commanders, and have a chance to win the NFC East and secure their spot in the playoffs.
Jalen Hurts and Co. were able to turn things around last week against the Raiders, and didn’t just win against a bad team, but they also showed a variety of new looks and potential for the offense. They were finally able to sustain drives, get first downs, and score touchdowns in the red zone. It was a nearly perfect game
for Hurts, who is probably growing very tired of people questioning his ability.

The defense is fresh off a shut out and the vibes continue to be high for that side of the ball. They’re a young group with a lot of energy, and are all clicking at an important time. It’s also been impressive to see Brandon Graham come out of retirement, move inside to play defensive tackle, and still record two sacks in a game.
The team definitely doesn’t need a positivity bunny in the locker room when they’re winning games — as head coach Nick Sirianni and Hurts both echoed the past couple weeks, execution fuels emotion, and there was finally a lot of that to build on.
Let’s just hope they’re able to do everything the need in order to beat the Commanders, win the NFC East, and then find ways to stay healthy through the final stretch of the regular season.
