Bayern Munich has made some serious moves in the last few summers. Not every summer a team can buy a player like Harry Kane, but some transfers that don’t seem as glamorous can be incredibly impactful as well. Jonathan Tah and Tom Bischof’s transfers last summer come first to mind. While the football world wasn’t blown away when Bayern Munich from Eintracht Frankfurt, they picked up an absolute gem with a seriously high ceiling.
Konrad Laimer is one of many at the club who have already noticed the sort
of impact Brown can make this season. It didn’t take long for Brown to make an impact after a MOTM-worthy performance in the Supercup against Borussia Dortmund. This week Laimer made some kind remarks towards his new teammate.
“It’s only been three weeks but it feels like he’s been here a long time. He’s a very cool guy and a very good footballer. He will do us a lot of good. The new signings will do us a lot of good and will definitely make us a better team this season,” Laimer told Absolut Bayern, as captured by @iMiaSanMia.
It is great to see that Brown fits in with the guys as well. Vincent Kompany certainly sees him as a versatile option, which was clear in the match against Dortmund. While last season was truly remarkable, this season feels like Bayern Munich have the additional depth necessary to get over the line and get that coveted Champions League crown for the first time since 2020.
