Indiana men’s basketball’s near total roster reset further cemented itself on Thursday when Nick Dorn indicated his intentions to enter the transfer portal, per Joe Tipton of On3.
Dorn’s entry means that all but two of Indiana’s players with remaining eligibility have elected to enter the portal, leaving only Trent Sisley and Andrej Acimovic from last season’s roster. Of those two, only Sisley has indicated an intent to return to the program next season.
Dorn averaged 8.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.3
assists while shooting 40.4% of the field and 38% from 3-point range. He stepped into the starting lineup due to injuries in the middle of the season and helped lift the Hoosiers to a winning streak with 23 points against Rutgers, 18 against Purdue and 26 against UCLA.
Dorn’s entry leaves Indiana without any starting experience from Darian DeVries’ first season heading into his second. The Hoosiers have even more work to do in the transfer portal.
