Welcome to the Morning Commute
Today we’re talking about Mizzou Hoops.
Mizzou Basketball fans can see senior Jayden Stone representing the Tigers one last time. Stone will be playing in the NABC Division 1 College All-Star Game at the Final Four in Indianapolis this weekend.
Stone will be on the West roster — and the game will be 2:30 p.m. CST tomorrow
afternoon on CBS Sports Network. It is the fourth consecutive year that a Mizzou Hoops will be featured in this All-Star Game.
And did you happen to miss the McDonald’s High School All-American game on Tuesday night? Here are your Jason Crowe Jr. and Toni Bryant highlights. Enjoy!

With the win, the Tigers have won 14 of their last 16 and are finally back above .500. With the end of the season in sight, it’s crazy to say this, but Mizzou has a chance at postseason play.
Mizzou Softball continues their hot streak after a midweek win over Missouri State.
Expect Mizzou to be busy this offseason in the transfer portal as Dennis Gates and the staff look to build this roster with one of the top recruiting classes coming in.
It would be a huge plus for Mizzou if Jason Crowe Jr. and Toni Bryant are as good as advertised in the McDonald’s All-American game.
Suiting up for the East was Toni Bryant, while future teammate Jason Crowe Jr. donned the West jersey. In Team West’s 102-86 win, Crowe propelled his team to victory while also nabbing co-MVP alongside Arizona recruit Caleb Holt.
It was a huge night for the Mizzou Basketball program. The future is bright.
Tiger Style ended its second consecutive season with a 14th-place finish at the NCAA Championships. Some would see the same result as complacency, but when the eight new primary starters and injuries are factored in, the 2025-26 season can be seen as a strong building block for the young program.
Collin breaks down the Mizzou Wrestling season, which was a solid campaign for Tiger Style — all things considered.
The most important news of the off-season is that Grace Slaughter will be returning to the team for her senior season. Slaughter has led the team in scoring the past two seasons, already cementing herself as a Mizzou legend. As a junior she averaged 18.7 points per game, totaling 635 points for the fifth most in a single season in Mizzou history and eclipsing Sophie Cunningham’s best year.
Huge news for Mizzou WBB as Kellie Harper looks to re-work the roster.
A native of Chicago, Mack began the season as a starter, but the fit within the rotation seemed to waver as the non-conference season wore on. After starting the first 9 games of the season, Mack saw action in only 5 games once SEC conference play started. And only in the 26 point loss to Alabama did he see the floor for more than 10 minutes. In all he played in 18 games, and averaged 12 minutes per game and scoring 7.0 points on 40.7% shooting.
I liked this addition in the offseason, but the fit obviously wasn’t there.
But first, the Tigers have to get past at least three of the four teams in their Lexington Regional Round 2, Session 1 quad meet (more on them in a bit) on Friday, and then after advancing to Sunday’s finals, they must again place in the top two in another quad meet to make it to nationals.
Get ready for Mizzou Gymnastics in the NCAA Lexington Regional as Karen has a jam-packed preview here.
