Good morning friends! The day is finally upon us: MLB Opening Day! The Yankees and Giants will kick off the 2026 season in a matchup broadcast on Netflix with first pitch at 5:05pm PT. The Mariners will get their season started tomorrow against the Guardians.
Do you have a favorite Opening Day memory? Either an MLB opener or Mariners opener. I still look back fondly on the 2019 Japan Opening Series where Ichiro got his swan song for Seattle. That was one of those special moments that only baseball
can produce, even in a forgettable Mariners season.
