Blake Hinson -C
Tonight wasn’t Hinson’s strongest shooting performance, but he still hit a pair of threes. Hinson is just a very solid player, and has shown to be a very good shooter, just an off night for him.
Jaxon Kohler – B
First of all I want to shout out Kohler because after the game he and Bez were throwing mini basketballs into the crowd and I caught
one that he threw. So thank you Jaxon! He also rebounded well tonight, grabbing 9.
Jonas Aidoo – A+
Aidoo was dominant tonight. He was a monster on the glass, leading the team with 14 rebounds. He also lead the team in points and blocks with 16 and 4.
Justin Harmon –B
Harmon had a very efficient game tonight, and was solid on both ends of the floor. He just continues to be a very solid scoring option for this year’s Summer League unit.
Eric Dixon – B-
I thought that Dixon was a bit better tonight than the stat sheet shows. He grabbed some tough rebounds, and played decent defense. He did have a rough night from three point land, going 1-6.
Max Abmas – A-
Abmas distributed the ball well tonight, with 6 assists, and always seemed like he was in control. Just a very solid game all around.
Bez Mbeng – A
Mbeng was a ridiculous +42 tonight in his 20 minutes of run. He did what he does best and notched 3 steals. He also showed some prowess as a passer with 7 assists. I am always appreciative of seeing him play, and it was amazing to see him play in person. Don’t forget he has a legit NBA triple double to his name.
Hayden Gray – A
Gray was solid tonight, he had an impressive buzzer beater, and had 5 assists. Nothing flashy for him tonight, but he was a very steady presence out there.
Micah Handlogten – A-
Handlogten only played 6 minutes, but he did manage to snag 5 rebounds in that time. He also made his only two shot attempts.
Matthew Cleveland – A+
Playing the second most amount of minutes tonight, Cleveland impressed, shooting 3-4 from deep, grabbing 3 steals, and a block. I also really like any player who wears #99, something about its mystique just sits right with me.
