It all comes down to this.
After last night’s wile 15-inning affair to decide the ALCS, one more winner-take-all game will take place this evening to decide who will play the Dodgers, who beat the Phillies
in four games, in the NLCS.
The Brewers took an early 2-0 lead at American Family Field, but the Cubs stormed back at Wrigley to tie the series. Now, after another 90-minute drive up I-94, they will play Game 5 in Milwaukee. Tonight’s matchup will feature a bullpen game on both sides, with old friend Drew Pomeranz (2-2, 2.17 ERA) kicking things off for the Cubs. Trevor Megill (6-3, 2.49 ERA) will take the mound for the Brewers.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:08 pm MDT, and the game will be televised on TBS/HBO Max.
