Marvel Comics’ The Amazing Spider-Man #1000 is being released on September 30.
As you can see below, the list of writers and contributors for this issue actually includes WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque’s name in there. It also includes Rob Fee, who is WWE’s Director of Character Development.
Triple H is listed as a co-contributor for a short story titled “The Big Night.” I’m not sure
what the plot is about, but I’ll assume it is now 50% more likely to include Peter Parker taking out the villains with a sledgehammer, drugging their girlfriends to marry them, and Cody Rhodes going over in the end.
It’s worth noting that Marvel Comics is owned by The Walt Disney Company (which owns WWE’s business partner ESPN), and there have been rumors this week about WWE and Disney collaborating more on various projects going forward.
What do you expect Triple H to bring to the table as a comic book writer? Let me know if you plan to check out his work in The Amazing Spider-Man #1000 at the end of this month, Cagesiders.
