Usually, I try to find some inspiration in my life that helps me write this little preamble. Sometimes it might be funny, other times it’s cute, and in today’s case…well I have nothing. I have to admit, I haven’t felt well since the twins came home at the beginning of the month. The hamster that runs the wheel in my head has officially collapsed of exhaustion, but it can’t rest because the wheel in the sky keeps on turning. If you sang that last bit, l applaud and reward you with this.
Here on the
recliner of solitude, it’s nice to finally be able to do something for just a little bit without having a tiny human in each arm. Aw hell, who am I kidding, I love to do it. I’m a strong recliner Dad, like my father and his father before me. It’s a trait that I hope to pass on to my son, but that requires him to actually sleep first. One step at a time.
