Bayern Munich midfielder Konrad Laimer shared his delight following Harry Kane’s return to Säbener Straße as the newly crowned Ballon d’Or winner.
Describing the unique atmosphere inside the squad in an interview captured by @iMiaSanMia, Laimer expressed how special it was for the entire team to celebrate alongside their record-breaking striker.
“It’s pretty cool. I’ve never experienced that before. He brought his Ballon d’Or into the dressing room yesterday. It’s absolutely deserved. I’m incredibly
happy for him. And I think the last 24 hours must have been very emotional for him. It was really great to see,” said Laimer.
Laimer’s comments match the sense of pride that everyone across the club and its fans feel after Kane’s historic award win in London. As Bayern continue their domestic and European campaigns under Vincent Kompany, having a world-class leader sharing his highest individual career milestone has provided another massive boost to squad morale.
